Small concrete skate park great for beginners but also fun for you old dogs.
3-33 Avenue Rd, Cumberland Park SA 5041, Australia
Avenue rd skate park, also known as cumbies or Aves, is a piece of shit.
argh haha i had the same idea but remembered frenzal actually is in love with cumbies and will never leave it. oh if you go there watch out for the locals they will rape you, while thinking of other skaters such as pj ladd, or arto.
your too right, animal chin.
I wont leave it because your mum is fat and stuck there and i love her too much to leave her alone at night...
this park is pretty shitty, but not if your a little grom starting out. it was actually supposed to be the same layout but a few sizes larger but i guess the council scaled it down to save dollars or something. its hard to get speed cos the parks so small but it has a good flow so you can maintain a continuous line just carving around. this ones for the beginners.
The park is fun, for the occasional roll. the flat bar is good, transition is perfect size for learning new tricks. ledges could be slightly bigger, the hip's transition is very sudden making it more difficult to hit than what it should be. locals are pretty chill, except for chris who will suddenly turn super sayan and blast the crap outta you. food and super market round the corner on goodwood rd.
I love the bums that skate here. Especially the guy in the above video^, i love him.
im goin there on saturday with peter and reece!
im goin there this week end its a fun little park dont go there to often tho it gets boring
oi i can do the spine, and also roll in the big coping and then do the spine
fuckin awsome man...
FUCK! want a medal?
yeah ok, sounds good, when can u get it 2 me?
this park is alright the best thing here is to skate over the spine and off the corner of the banked side of the funbox unless u like skating the 2 inch high bowls
this parks spine is the illest
haha wow the bowles are massive....
Cumbies is actually really fun. The spine is rad because its like a hip transfer aswell on the end of it. The smallest quarter is like 30 high.
yeah gotta love cumbys i learnt to drop in here on scooters/bikes and boards i can almost varial kickflip the bank
theres some better pics of this joint
Lol at all that fuckin rain. This used to be my local before forestville skate park was built. Its good for beginners, and is pretty chill to roll around in. From memory though, it sucks due to its small size (which actually wouldn't really be bad if the park wasn't swarmed upon by BMXers and other little faggots.
watch out cos the locals will rape you LOLOL

The only skatepark in Adelaide where you can shred on a mini skateboard...rad. Never Cumberland here again
yiewww. love this place with a passion! second home!
I live 100 meters away from this park and I absolutely love it :)
It is the perfect size to learn tricks and considering the average skill level of Adelaide’s skaters.. this would only be too small for a tiny percentage of them...
Hit this park, its awesome
this is my local and theres no rapists there because theres like 8 locals.this place is empty every day now but its got some really good hidden lines.its a really good place 2 to learn .a few years back all the locals won the blackwood comp.and the locals arent dickheads coz as i said before theres less than 10
my local <3
Is there a light here?
Learning to skate again
This park is great for beginners like full padded parental skaters. And the locals haven't given me too much shit over my old school board either.
