Been there a few times recently, and going there tomorrow as well! It's $10 to get in for all day. The mini ramp, I agree, is pretty unskateable, but the bowl is decent, and the 1st floor area is great for newer skaters. It isn't all just huge ramps and rails. There are pretty simple roll in ramps, and space to practice flat ground tricks. There are areas to grind, and practice ramp tricks! The one ramp that has coping on it, is broken, and I wouldn't recommend trying to skate it, unless you're looking to get hurt or damage your board. The park is a bit dirty, but a nice place to get together with friends.
The food is alright downstairs. They have nice burgers and chips. It's a bit pricey, but nice food. The arcade and go karts are fun as well! If you have time, definitely check it out. The staff are pretty nice.
Great skate park but absolutely no shade whatsoever! No trees. Nothing! For anyone wanting to sit and watch or look out for their own child, it’s like sitting in a desert on a warm day. The council need to address this issue and I’m very surprised it hasn’t already.
