Back in the day (before EC and Taroona) this was THE park in Hobart where all the best skaters came and the hottest comps were held. It was also my local. It's hard to imagine, but on a good weekend the park was packed and you could be waiting a good 5 minutes to get a run at grinding the ledge. Nowadays nobody serious skates here, but it's a top park for learning due to small quarter pipes, low rail, plenty of flat space, and a very fun ledge to grind.
Layout great with some good slides and fun moves. But have to go in early hours or late night (has lights) as it attracts the kid scooters who have no etiquette (and no visible parents! A kid's gonna damaged here soon at this rate) and frustrated dudes with gutter mouths. Otherwise a sick skark...
