Time (public transport) from city: Roughly 30 mins by train
Directions (from Flinders st station): Go to platforms 5&6 (or is it 4&5?), the UPFIELD line leaves from either side, when you catch the train down the line on of the last few stations will be BATMAN, get off here and walk/skate down the main street that the staion leads onto, walk down TOWARDS all the mechanics and factory stores, after about 400 metres you will se coburg skatepark to your LEFT
Pros: Nice "very different" street style plaza, absolute killer bowl (with tiling), fine park for beginers to advanced skaters, allthough the bowl is a bit gnarly for learners
Cons: The tiling on the bowl is beggining to chip and waste away, the bowl occasionally leaks, due to biker induced cracks, this place gets really crap after you skate it around 100 times though, so 99 skates will do you well, the double sets are good fun, but the landings are rough, because of random assholes writing their names in the wet concrete, the rails are fairly wack, and those nice looking bluestone block...THEY SUCK!
...other wise it is a fun park to skate
Food: Maccas is around the corner, just ask any locals for directions. But the best place, out of all to eat, is down the road (back towards the station) at the chinese food store $6 meals!!! lunch box of noodles and a can of drink...cant go wrong.

"Click" : definately worth goin there not hard to get too and very fun.
the bowl is very steep and very fun. and the park is awesome.
To get there get off at batman station and turn right and follow it down for about 800m.
it is diffirent to one of the pictures.
the one which looks under contruction is now a 2 flat 5 with less than half of the flat and handrails (full size)

toMMyy' : this skatepark is alright guess. the bowl is mad but always is a little messy. onetime i was pumping the bowl and i back 5-0ed the coping n locked up n fell straight on my kness from the big end. the locals here are friendly but occasionaly you get a car full of lebos fly pass n give you the finger.
Combat : Local here; as the designer at Convic stated, the hardest, gnarliest and best bowl in Australia.

barrazzabonzii : the bowl is good but a bit 2 shonk-shaped. the street park has a surface with not enough ground friction so you cant keep speed, you'll keep going but really slow. its more an inline street course, and every good grinding spot is blocked by a seat

Piky White : They are currently building a 4 to 5 foot concrete mini ramp...the foundation is in and i imagine its pretty much done by now if not real soon.

Piky White : drove past the other day to see if the mini was finished (and as previous posts suggest, it is) and it was swamped by bikers.....like 15 - 20 of them.....which is wierd for coburg cause i never see bikes there
