I'm flattered that you'd name the spot after me. We always just called it the 'Macquarie 14'. If I'm honest Dave B and pretty sure Ben Gauci did this set before me. I feel like one of them gave the rail a go but didn't land it. That was back when Ryde Council would set up skate comps on the Macquarie Centre roof top carpark (circa 2003)
Little park in a quiet part of the town. The half bowl is great. It's not too high for beginners while giving them an escape route if it turns out to difficult for them. There is a funbox with a stairs, a couple of grind rails/boxes and a mini flat+quarter pipe. When I was skating here, there was quite a bit of trash on the ground, which makes it less attractive to skate. There is a 400 meter speed track next to the skatepark so if you have a set of bigwheels, you can combine a bit of aggressive inline with a few laps on the track. Overall it's a nice small park provided there is no trash.
